# Claude Code (desktop)

Set up once in Claude Code. New sessions use the same connection.

1. Paste this into a new Claude Code chat:

Connect Biosimulant at https://api.biosimulant.com/mcp.
Help me sign in, reuse any existing connection, and confirm my account.
Do not start a session or run anything.
```

2. Follow the sign-in request and approve access for your Biosimulant account.
3. [Create a session in Studio](/studio/quickstart), then paste its session prompt into Claude Code.

Using staging? Copy the setup prompt from staging Studio instead.

Ask Claude Code to add the hosted server:

claude mcp add --transport http biosimulant https://api.biosimulant.com/mcp
```

Open `/mcp`, choose Biosimulant and sign in. Start a new chat if the tools have not appeared.
